Fourteen chefs compete for the chance to convince the French that we can match them when it comes to gastronomic prowess. The prize is to cook a fantastic four course banquet hosted by the British Ambassador to France. The banquet will be held at the magnificent Embassy in Paris, which has a proud reputation for championing the best of British.

Nick Nairn and Jeremy Lee will now cook their entire menus for the food experts, Prue Leith, Matthew Fort and Oliver Peyton. The panel will then decide which chef will go on to represent Scotland in the national final.
