Everything To Gain

No one comes close to the majestic, all encompassing rawk that arrives on the scene when the Foos show up. With an overwhelming roster of hit singles and the ability to sound fresh with each new release, the Seattle band are the total package - with thrash metal riffs, artfully created melodies and fans that will walk over hot coals to be in their presence.

Initially started as a one man band by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl after the death of Kurt Cobain, the eponymous debut spawned the rousing This Is A Call, paving the way for an illustrious career. 6 albums followed with beloved tracks Monkey Wrench, Learn to Fly, The Pretender, All My Life and the epic Everlong. Recent album Wasting Light debuted at number 1 in twelve countries, breaking Adele's 11-week run as queen of the UK Album Charts.

Having won the Grammy for Best Rock Album four times - a feat no other band has done - plus side shifts for Queens of the Stone age, Grohl and co take the stage as leading lights in the field of rock. First appearing at the festival in 1995, their return to Reading + Leeds will again showcase an iconic sound that seemlessly transitions between empathy and aggression, leaving the crowd captured in the Fighters wake.
