Proxies are a rock electronica band with roots in Yorkshire and London. Since becoming a full live band in the summer of 2011, Proxies have toured with the likes of Hadouken!, Kids In Glass Houses and Patrick Stump, played their own headline show and performed as part of HMV's 2012 Next Big Thing.
Initially recording and producing most music in their own bedrooms, Proxies self-released their debut EP Lost Tapes, Volume I, receiving over 10,000 downloads in the week of release. The band's first single If I Had A Penny To My Name featured Sean Smith of The Blackout and was produced by Gareth McGrillen, no stranger to the electronic rock arena.
