Nottingham's The Establishment were formed in 2006 by ex-Nottingham Forest midfielder John Burns, who plays guitar for the group. Along with drummer Steven Landon, they ran a successful recruitment drive to make a passionate five piece dealing in feel good indie rock that draws comparisons with Ocean Colour Scene, The Coral, The Fratellis and The Enemy.
The football connections don't end with the involvement of Burns - the band are managed by former Coventry City striker Dion Dublin and the video for their debut single Be That Way features appearances form Des Walker, Teddy Sheringham, Les Ferdinand and Stuart Pearce. Connections or what!
