Join the 成人快手 Symphony Orchestra at the iconic Maida Vale Studios for an evening of Finnish orchestral music, chosen by Chief Conductor Sakari Oramo.
Full of sprite-like textures, Klami鈥檚 overture 鈥楾he Cobblers on the Heath鈥� provides an exciting opening for the concert. Dedicated contemporary music pianist Joonas Ahonen gives the UK premiere of Lauri Kilpi枚鈥檚 鈥楽hades of Light鈥� Piano Concerto, which uses both standard and prepared instruments. Completed in 1926, Madetoja鈥檚 optimistic and pastoral Symphony No. 3 is considered to be his masterpiece and in equal stature to Sibelius鈥檚 contributions to the genre.

Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.
