Young British conductor Adam Hickox returns to the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Symphony Orchestra. He conducts Stravinsky’s colourful ballet Petrushka as well as Sofia Gubaidulina’s Fairytale Poem, based on The Little Piece of Chalk, a fairy-tale by the Czech writer, MiloÅ¡ Macourek. And the concert begins with music from Dame Ethel Smyth’s 1906 opera The Wreckers.
