Inspire Session with Hannah Kendall
Following on from Radio 3鈥檚 ground-breaking celebration of Women Composers on International Women鈥檚 Day in 2016, the station will once again celebrate International Women鈥檚 Day in 2017, devoting itself to contemporary women composers on 8 March.
As part of the International Women's Day celebrations, 成人快手 Proms Inspire are inviting young, female composers to take part in a special project in February with contemporary composer Hannah Kendall and special guests, culminating in a live performance to be broadcast on 成人快手 Radio 3鈥檚 In Tune.
The project is open to a small group of 16 - 21 year old female composers who are interested in creating, experimenting with and performing a short piece in a group setting. Participants are required to be Grade 5 standard or above on their chosen instrument/voice and must be able to attend all project dates from 14 - 16 February 2017.
