Among the pieces in the programme are world premiere performances of Robin Milford鈥檚 Symphony No. 2, Vaughan Williams鈥檚 The Blue Bird and Lord Berners鈥� Portsmouth Point. Violinist Sergei Levitin, Concert Master of the Royal Opera House, gives the world premiere of Stanford鈥檚 Violin Concerto in D of 1875.
