Nick Mulvey was a founding in the Mercury Award nominated Portico Quartet in which he played the hang.
In November 2011 he left the band and returned to his first inspiration, the guitar. He released his first EP, The Trellis, in November 2012 which was followed by Fever to the Form in 2013.
In the past year Nick has supported the likes of Willy Mason, and Laura Marling, found a few new 6 Music friends with a memorable Park Stage performance at Glastonbury and made the top 15 of the 成人快手鈥檚 Sound of 2014. His new EP, Cucurucu, will be released, days after 6 Music Fest, on 3 March.
