The Gaslamp Killer is the alias of William Benjamin Bensussen, a respected leftfield hip hop DJ and producer signed to Flying Lotus鈥檚 Brainfeeder records. He released an album, Breakthrough, on the label in 2012, but is just as well-known for his mixes, including two stellar outings for the 成人快手 - an Essential Mix for Pete Tong in 2012, and a more recent one that was aired as part of the Flying Lotus Radio 1 Residency in February this year.
The Gaslamp Killer Experience is a new, full-band project that Bensussen debuted at the Coachella festival in California on April 11 and is now bringing to Glastonbury. It promises to be a true experience - a highly flammable stew of dubbed-out psychedelia, space jazz, heavy funk and scratch DJing. In other words, exactly what sounds incredible at Worthy Farm.
