Viersen, in the lower Rhine region of Germany, is the setting for the penultimate concert of the 成人快手 Philharmonic鈥檚 tour of Europe. The concert is framed by two 19th-centry works: Rossini鈥檚 Silken Ladder Overture and Mendelssohn鈥檚 Third Symphony, the Scottish - said to be inspired by the composer鈥檚 visit to Scotland in 1829. At the heart of the programme are two technically astounding percussion concertos performed by 鈥榳izard of percussion鈥� Martin Grubinger, including the stunning piece Rough Music, by the 成人快手 Philharmonic鈥檚 own Composer/Conductor HK Gruber.
