The 成人快手 Singers, together with conductor Grace Rossiter and organist Anna Lapwood mark International Women鈥檚 Day with a live broadcast of music by leading women composers of the 21st Century. At the heart of the programme are three world premieres, including a 成人快手 commission written for the occasion by Australian-American composer Melissa Dunphry, setting 鈥業 am the world鈥� by the Irish poet Dora Sigerson Shorter.
The 成人快手 Singers and conductor Grace Rossiter are joined by organist and broadcaster Anna Lapwood, who plays works commissioned from her own new anthology of organ pieces by women composers, including Ghislaine Reece-Trapp, a former finalist in the 成人快手 Radio 3 Breakfast Carol Competition, whose Mass for the Mystery of Faith also receives its world premiere in this concert.
