The 成人快手 SSO鈥檚 first performance in Tectonics 2016 is a new spatial work by Catherine Kontz written for the Old Fruitmarket which is derived from transcriptions of market vendors鈥 calls and shouts collected from around the world. An 鈥榓ttractor鈥 is 鈥榓 geometric representation of oscillatory behaviour within a closed system鈥 and Richard Emsley鈥檚 new work weaves a loose imaginative association between never-resolving musical oscillations and the haunting, butterfly-like images of 鈥榮trange鈥 attractors. Laurence Crane鈥檚 compositions have been called 鈥済ently subversive鈥 and his new work will no doubt demonstrate his trademark (deceptive) simplicity. John Tilbury is the soloist in a new piano concerto from Howard Skempton, another composer often f锚ted for his ability to compose music of great complexity from the smallest of musical ideas. Finally, Jessika Kenney and Eyvind Kang present a new version of their work Concealed Unity, first performed at Tectonics Reykjavik in 2013, and performed for the first time with a new fourth movement.
