Liverpool girl Stephanie lives with her parents and two younger brothers - she thinks her family are like the Von Trapps! She has appeared on numerous TV shows including Doctors, Holby City, Parents of the Band and The Outsiders, as well as numerous commercials, but her ultimate dream is to be a West End star.
She started singing at the age of six, and describes her voice as versatile. She has enjoyed several lead roles, in productions of Annie, as Gretel in The Sound of Music, Anna in Santa Clause The Musical, and Little Nell in Her Benny, all at the Liverpool Empire Theatre.
One of Stephanie's biggest regrets was not paying more attention in Maths at school... she was far too busy tapping her feet under the desk, and was once even so overcome with the urge to get up and sing at school - she did just that! She performed an impromptu rendition of "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" in the middle of English class. She thinks this vibrancy will lend itself well to the role of Dorothy.
Having received good comments last week Stephanie wanted to keep it up with her version of Mr Bojangles. The panel returned mixed comments.
She went on to give it her all in the group performance of The Happening and the mash up of Well, Did You Evah, Get The Party Started and Wild Thang . It was the time of the night that every Dorothy dreads, the results and Stephanie found herself in the sing off
The Lord saved Steph so Stephanie had to leave the competition with an emotional farewell.
So far Stephanie has had consistently good comments from the panel she aimed to keep that up this week with her version of Nobody Does It Better?
Group performances this week started with the Dorothys opening the show with a unique version of The Tinman's If I Only Had A Heart, from The Wizard of Oz. Having impressed the panel so far with her performances but this week she takes on the challenge of a big song, Smile. Can she sock it to the panel and bring a smile to faces of you at home?
