成人快手 Sport and 成人快手 Creator Lab are launching a ground-breaking search to find a new 成人快手 football contributor who could appear on shows like Football Focus, Final Score and 5 Live Sport as well as in digital 成人快手 outlets. In collaboration with TikTok, we鈥檒l hold an open call-out in December 2024 for new creators with a shortlist then competing in a new digital series to land a prestigious role as a 成人快手 Sport contributor.

We鈥檙e looking for production companies to pitch and produce this series.

Programme brief

We鈥檙e looking for production companies to pitch and produce a digital series that will feature 成人快手 Creator Lab participants competing in a variety of challenges. Each challenge will test their abilities as experts in sport punditry, with the ultimate goal of one of them becoming a 成人快手 Sport contributor.

We welcome treatments that test the core skills of being of a football expert:

• Tactical analysis
• Analysing goals/controversial decisions
• Interviewing players and managers in pre-match and post-match scenarios
• Final Score style punditry across multiple games
• Creating a viral social video
• Transfer deadline day

The 成人快手 will endeavour to facilitate access to 成人快手 programme sets, pundits and sport productions.

We鈥檇 like to hear ideas about how you鈥檇 construct the challenges and format beats. For example, is this a whittle-down format with one contestant exiting after each episode, or will they compete across all episodes, accruing points for a final knockout in the last episode?

We are looking for treatments that will fit the 成人快手 Sport brand, with a narrative that is creative, entertaining and full of jeopardy. The competition should have simple rules which the audience can follow. The tone and challenges proposed should resonate with a 16-34 year-old audience, and be in line with the themes and treatments of sport coverage across social media in the UK.

We will commission between six and eight 15 minute episodes to be published across 成人快手 iPlayer and 成人快手 Sport website by summer 2025, with a possible linear TX on 成人快手 Three.

From a execution perspective, we鈥檙e looking for a multi-platform approach which allows the idea to also be published across 成人快手 social accounts and feature in Radio 1 as audio excerpts.

Presenters and casting

The show will be fronted by Radio 1 and 成人快手 Sport presenters and we welcome suggestions for relevant guest judges and mentors. We鈥檙e interested in using existing talent in the football space but note presenters and contributors should be people relevant to our target young audience.

Well-known 成人快手 Sport contributors and pundits will be guest mentors for the episodic challenges, alongside football relevant talent.

Cast members will be recruited via 成人快手 Creator Lab through a separate application process. The 成人快手 will have final decision on casting, in consultation with the successful producer.

Commissioning process

Expressions of interest will be accepted from 18 November until 8 December 2024.

The 成人快手 team will then shortlist up to eight producers and invite them to paid the development stage (拢2,000) concluding with an in-person slideshow pitch w/c 27 January 2025.

One producer will be appointed during February 2025 to produce six to eight x 15 minute digital series, at a tariff of around 拢5k per minute, to be broadcasted in July 2025.

Alongside the series the company will also be required to deliver shorter versions of each episode for use across the 成人快手 portfolio and for a weekly insert on Radio 1.

Companies will be selected based on the following criteria:

• Proposal fit to 成人快手 Sport brand and tone.
• Track record in producing and delivering entertaining digital formats within tight timelines.
• Proven experience delivering factual entertainment content.
• Proven experience delivering multi-platform content - adapt execution to a variety of digital mediums (video, audio, gaming etc.).
• Ability to deliver visual style that feels authentic and in line with 16-34 year-old audiences.

About 成人快手 Creator Lab

成人快手 Creator Lab is a first of its kind talent discovery scheme. Launched in 2023 in collaboration with TikTok, its goal is finding the UK鈥檚 most exciting social media creators and turbo-charging their careers.

In its first year the program offered up to 100 creators a two-day in-person development experience. Participants had the opportunity to meet with 成人快手 commissioners and producers, work on a 成人快手 social content brief, and receive training and masterclasses from TikTok. The initiative focused on various content areas, including sports, nature, cooking, entertainment, and children鈥檚 programming, targeting creators who can engage Gen Z, Alpha, and millennial audiences.
