Make a box for biscuits and cakes
Why not try making these cute little boxes? They pair perfectly with our coconut and mango biscuit recipe, but you can use them for anything!
- Paper plate (plain plate works fine, you just need to add some colour using pens/paint!)
- Sticky tape
- Ribbon or string
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Card
- Coloured pens
Step One
Get a pencil and a ruler and measure 8cm from one side and 6cm from the other side.
Measure 5cm from the top and 5cm from the bottom.
Draw a line across so you can see where you will need to make a fold later on.
Step two
Now take your scissors and make two small slits on the top and bottom of the paper plate.

Step three
Fold each of the four sides towards you to make a box shape.
Next fold the edges into triangles.
Attach the sides together using some sticky tape.
Step four
Take some ribbon or string and wrap it around the box (to stop the ribbon from slipping, place some sticky tape around both sides).
Tie a beautiful bow at the front.
Step five
Now get creative and decorate the box however you like!
If you want to add a personalised message, write it on a piece of card and attach the card to the back edge of the box.
You can also add a serviette or some kitchen roll in the bottom.
Place biscuits or anything you like inside.
