Remembering the Miners' Strike...The 1984 Miners' Strike changed the lives of many people in West Yorkshire. As the 25th anniversary of the strike approaches, the 成人快手 wants to hear your stories and memories. Police and pickets face each other in the Strike The strike which lasted from March 1984 to March 1985 is now seen as one of the most important events in recent history. Thousands of people from across West Yorkshire were involved in one way or another. Twenty five years on very few people in West Yorkshire have jobs in coal mining and the communities that supported its pits have had to find new roles. Women march against pit closures If you were involved in the strike, or your life or your family were affected by the events, we'd like you to share your stories and your memories. Some of you may not even have been born when the strike took place but you may still feel that what happened then has affected your life. This is your opportunity to share YOUR story, and tell us what you believe was the wider significance of the strike.
