Afternoon folks,
Hope you're all enjoying the blog today - I've had a call from Nigel Adderley who is mortified to think anyone reading his blog entry about the Spain Ukraine match last night mistook his comments about Andriy Shevchenko..
In response to Grr!, mspoke and others who seem to think Nigel himself was being critical of Shevchenko he wants to make it clear that he was not. His 拢30m are you having a laugh? was just something he thought the Spanish fans might be singing...He actually thought Shevchenko got poor service from the team.

I agreed with him. Shevchenko is an outstanding striker and is used to good support. He can't get Ukraine through the group stages on his own, though.

I was watching England VS Trinidad & Tobago in a restaurant. Most of the game appeared to be a struggle for a goal. The Last few minutes ended with England scoring 2 to 0 against Trinidad and Tobago. What happens to England depends on the Sweden VS Paraguay Game.

Not to mention Shev's just come from an injury lay off. Just see what's happened to Owen after his return - a player lacking in all department - and Shev's probably done better if you consider that.
