Hi and welcome to my blog, I`m Julie Howatson-Broster, a 34 year old beauty lecturer and therapist from Denbigh, North Wales.
I have two children - Arthur and Alaw - and I`m married to Aaron, a head chef at a local restaurant and also a qualified body piercer (yes, a strange combination I`m sure you'll agree).
I have been running my own beauty salon since 1992 and also recently opened my own private beauty academy. I have also worked on various television and radio programmes offering beauty advice and tips to viewers and listeners.
My husband decided it would be a great idea to put me forward for Not in my Nature as he's totally fed up with my lack of knowledge and interest in nature. Although I'm sure he'd like to, he's never allowed to watch wildlife programmes because I don't have any interest in the subject and I'm the one in charge of the remote control!
I'd much prefer to watch Eastenders or Holby City than see any type of creepie crawlies on screen as I do have quite a phobia of spiders.
I've just arrived back from Cardiff after meeting the crew and thoroughly enjoyed my first day. I felt we all got on wonderfully and were all rather excitable (rather a mad bunch I must say) though I'm sure it's not going to remain that 'sweet' for long. Let`s just wait and see.
