Julian Lewis Jones stars in Clint Eastwood's Invictus
Anglesey-born actor Julian Lewis Jones stars in new Hollywood blockbuster Invictus - directed by Clint Eastwood - which is released in UK cinemas today. (Photograph: Craig Sugden)
The film tells the story of how South African president Nelson Mandela approached Springbok rugby captain Francois Pienaar ahead of the 1995 Rugby World Cup in a bid to unite the racially divided country through the sport.
Morgan Freeman plays the president and Matt Damon portrays Pienaar, while Jones - who will be recognisable to Welsh television fans as Moz from Belonging - plays the part of Etienne Feyder, part of Mandela's security team.
