I'm sorry but I am one of Mr Darling's constituents and as far as I am aware no own voted him in to help his journalist wife scale the Arts establishment greasy pole. I'm a song writer looking to complete a second album and I would rather not complete it than take a penny piece from the Arts Council. Keep hand outs out of the arts and the creative industries is what I say. That kind of patronage just leads to jobs for the boys in Kinnochio land.
