Last weekend the sixth annual took place on the Belladrum estate near Inverness, and - bucking the market trend - sold out all its 12,000 tickets for the first time. Headliners included Editors, Ocean Colour Scene and Glen Tilbrook. Our roving reporting Richard Bull loaded up his camera and headed off to check it out.
But it isn't just for the bands on the bill that people turn up to Belladrum - it's to soak up the atmosphere of this wee Glastonbury, with its distinctive Highlands-flavour, its laidback and peaceful vibe. Old hippies and indie-kids mingle, and there are weird diversions galore for all ages.
The entertainment was insanely diverse, from top-notch singer-songwriters at the Potting Shed to readings and debates in the Verb Garden.
Musical highlights included Nashville's , who brought his wit and wisdom to the Grassroots Stage on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile Glasgow's Phantom Band offered innovative rock to the indie cognoscenti gathered at the Hothouse Stage.
The Seedlings Stage was where teenage music fans set up home, as far removed from dad-rock as possible.
And some of Scotland's finest folk musicians got to play too, particularly at the excellent Sideburns stage.
Troubadour extraordinaire was on fine form too.
Headliners on the Hothouse Stage on Saturday were British Sea Power who kindly brought their own greenery.
But that's just a glimpse - there were hundreds of happenings, big and small.
Just about everyone there last weekend will be salivating at the prospect of Tartan Heart 2010.
