Red Dead or Your Accounts Dead?

I've down loaded the expansion pack for and was well happy. More garms to wear, hats, guns, ropes, herbs, maps.... the list is endless! On-line gets the props as well. Now this game has smacked it for 2010, story mode and on-line and I strongly recommend getting the expansion pack.

Now for those who decided to get HACK their way to higher points and weapons, you've managed to cheese off the man dem at Rockstar and boy are you in trouble......
Yeap Rockstar the makers of game are going all out and banning some gamers from playing the online version. Why? because people have been hacking in to get high scores. (DAM CHEATS!)

So about a week ago Rockstar, got so cheesed off with this they said anyone who had cheated their way to higher experience points had 7 days to delete them or would be banned from the online, multi player version of the game. Wow thats serious!

Check out the full story here from our ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖTechnology reporter Dan Whitworth.

What do you guys, do you think they're right to do this, or is it a liberty?? Could this be the start of developers taking the control back from hackers. Get involved peeps let me know.

It is about time that the developers took action I buy most of the big multiplayer games when they come out but i have since sold all of my Call of Duty games and Red Dead Redemption because there are people on there that have cheated their way up the rankings and then just laugh at you. If activision were to ban the cheaters as well i might buy it again.

    Wicked show

See I'm a cod 6 player but i like the glitchs on barebones pro because once u find them there is normally about 4-5 players there so you kill them but your not glitching youself because your running around them map looking for them if that makes sense lol

well me and my bro play cod and red dead and found alot of hackers and glitchers on both we think its perfetic that people have to do this just to beat you so we are glad that there taking action against them as it cheats everyone out of the game and my brother foldupdodge84 was rank 108000 in the world on call of duty modern warfare 2 and dropped over a hundred thousand in rank because of hackers and we cant be bothered to play it anymore or buy the new 1 for that fact just because they wouldnt band and delete the hacked accounts its very annoying for us and the people who play the game not cheat it so hopefully activison will sort this asap as its ruining the game for alot of us.

loving the show bustin some sick tunes!!!! bless

As one of these dreaded hackers (only on red dead though) i can honestly say this is more out of rockstars appalling anti cheating system, or more accurately, their nnon existent anti hacking system. MW2 saves your data server side and can only be edited through jtagging (hardware modding) red dead saves it to the usb stick, and is the only game (for several years) stupid enough to do this
