I Love You, Man - Hilarious 'bromance' with Paul Rudd as a the girly husband-to-be desperately looking for a new blokey mate to be his Best Man. Enter uber-slob Jason Segel...(that's them with Edi Bow) 4 stars

In The Loop - Big laughs and loadsa swearing in this political satire about a bumbling MP who finds himself causing havoc on both sides of the Atlantic. From the team that made TV show The Thick Of It. 4 stars

Crank 2: High Voltage (cert.18) - Jason Statham returns as wideboy Chev Chelios, recovered from poisoning but now discovering he's had his heart stolen and replaced with a mechanical one. Er...right. Seriously, the cartoonish/anarchic style of this pic is outta this world. Dumb but amazing. 5 stars.
