The Belfast church that gave shelter to more than 100 Romanians, following racist attacks in the south of the city, says it has received a constant flow of enquiries from local people wishing to offer practical help to the families. says, "As a church we have received in financial gifts also, we feel it's appropriate that an agency handles this money instead of us and therefore with immeadiate effect we are passing on all financial donations on to , an organisation working soley with transient communites." Clothes have been passed onto those currently helping the Romanians at their secret location." They also say they are currently redirecting food to a project called Storehouse, which is run by the Vinyard Church in Belfast.

City Church thank you. Vineyard thank you. Embrace (I didn't know about you) thank you. I feel a little less ashamed to be a Christian.

As a former member of WW Choir who was there the morning of the walkout I must state there was no planned walkout. I sat in the row where the men left from and no one had discussed a walkout. The moment Pastor McConnell announced to the congregation and I quote " there have been rumours about the Church about certain things, I will address these in two weeks"this appears to have started a spontaneous response of anger and disbelief
On reflection the most important happoening regarding the future of WW was dismissed with a throwaway commnent to the members resulting in approx 400 members leaving.
The members of WW deserve answers to serious questions. Will it ever happen???
Any nonsense about premeditatioin is exactly that nonsense.
Next thing you'll tell us is 400 were in on the conspiracy!!
