I'm intrigued by a caption in the Blair book, , for the famous ice-cream photo.
It reads: "ice creams with Gordon on the campaign trail, 2 May 2005. I insisted on getting a flake."
It is an odd thing to say. Is it a dig at GB? Or am I reading too much into it?

I remember that incident - it was Blair winding up Brown. THERE WAS NOT AN IOTA OF EYE CONTACT IN THE WHOLE EXCHANGE.
How appalling that two such disastrous personalities should each be Prime Minister of this country. How utterly predictable that, under the Westminster Ethos, such is inevitable. How galling that WE HAVE GOT OURSELVES ANOTHER ONE.
