In a survey which asked parents to sing the second line to Baa Baa Black Sheep, 20% could not recite it correctly. There were similar results for Humpty Dumpty in the poll of 1,000 families by market research company Survey Shop. Can you do any better?

At nearly five months pregnant, I am in training.
Baa baa black sheep, have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.
One for the master and one for the dame
And one for the little boy who lives down the lane.
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
Now I just have to learn how to change a nappy, preferably without vomiting. Hmm.
I'm not even a parent and I could do better than that when I was child-minding. The only nursery rhyme I came a cropper on recently was the crooked man who walked a crooked mile.
Maybe some slight excuses for Baa Baa Black Sheep, but is nobody reading Lewis Carroll to their children these days?
I don't have any children, but have been informed by friends who are parents that "Baa baa black sheep" is no longer politically correct and has been changed to "Baa baa woolly sheep". No wonder people can't recite this classic nursery rhyme correctly.
