has an interesting analysis of how Cornwall's Lords voted on the government's Welfare Reform Bill. The position of Cornwall's Liberal Democrat peers is fascinating - sometimes for, sometimes against, sometimes against each other. Good luck to anyone trying to spot a party policy.

    The really worrying thing is that out of more than 700 peers there are so few with Cornish connections and such tenuous connections in some cases anyhow. Out of more than a thousand parliamentarians there must be fewer than a dozen that actually live in Cornwall.

    People accept separating parties by policies is almost impossible, I suspect the Tories were only voted in because labour had created such a mess, nothing to with policies. What unique appeal the liberals had, has been lost thanks to Cleggs five minutes of fame and his ludicrous referendum on the Alternative Vote, I feel like having a £100 wager that Clegg will not even keep his seat come the next election due to his selfish antics.     Surely the 6 House of Commons Parliamentarians must have a residence in their constituency?
