Well, this has been a pretty incredible journey so far - thanks for joining me for the second half!
The tour, on which I'm walking to all of the venues, started back on the 21May in Herefordshire.
We (and I mean we, because I was joined at various stages of the journey by old friends and new ones) walked 133 miles in 10 days through 6 counties with 8 gigs.
We finished up at Nettlebed on 1 June (not before playing a couple of superb gigs at Wychwood Festival).
It's been a great experience, both walking and playing with pals like from the Oysterband, Boff from and .
The tour so far has given me a lot of time to reflect on the music I've been making for my solo album, Rising Road.
I'm singing traditional songs for the first time in a long time, and I've always felt that traditional music has a great connection with the landscape.
When I sing songs, I always have a picture in my head of what's happening, and the setting is almost always rural.
Bringing together the music and the countryside in this really personal way was a bit of a dream of mine (some would say a completely mad one!), but getting out there and doing it, it's all made sense.
I can't wait to pull on my walking boots again.
We set off again on 14 June from Banbury, heading for the Oysterband's on 19 June.
I'll be playing a solo gig with my Reluctant Ramblers band at Big Session, so if you don't catch up with us on the way (and feel free to join in the walking - route details can be found ), we'll see you in Leicester!
