Speaking of Sinn Fein ministers, a colleague of mine was out interviewing Michelle Gildernew at Carson's statue today as a car with an agriculture official from her new department drove past. Ms Gildernew noted the time at around quarter to four and wondered aloud where he might be going so early in the day!

Why Gildernew can't be a minister
In February 2007, Michelle Gildernew admitted live on air to thousands of listeners on David Dunseaths Talkback program that personnaly she would not report the posession of illegal weapons to the police. If i am right, ministers must make a pledge to the Policing and justice system before the are appointed. So how can Michelle Gildernew be a minister if she cant make the pledge to our justice system.
Why Gildernew will be a minister!
Ermm...Cos she has a mandate.
Democracy - You got to love it!
Freedom of Speech - you got to love that even more!
Hitler also had a mandate.
Not that I'm drawing any comparisons...
