Still can't get over Adele...

...winning six Grammys. Not only that, but the more you read about the grace with which she received them, the more you like her. And I liked her a lot to start with !

Meant to go for a workout today. Haven't so far, it's now mid afternoon and I'm staring at a pie. Or is it staring back at me ? I'm not sure. I know one thing though, my belly will be looming large later, so guess what?

I'm going to go halves. I'll take the dog for a light jog while the pie is heating up. Ah, compromise - experience teaches you to embrace it.

Peace and Love.

    Hello Chris.

Happy Valentine's Day (although now almost over)

I like Adele, she sings from the heart and is so down to earth.

I'm also thinking about a pork pie which is in my fridge, I'm going to give in but it's too dark to go out jogging (not that I could anyway ha ha!). Would need an ambulance!

    Off to the fridge!

    Morning CLP and Bloggers alike!

Gail, good to hear things went well on Monday and yip yip yibble to Minstrel being back where he belongs. At least now you know where he may be next time he wanders off - perhaps he considers it his "other pad" for the occassional feline getaway!

JG, strange Valentine's indeed. My first thought was maybe the ex was trying to prevent you from going out with anyone nice on Valentine's night. But then, I'm just a bitter and twisted old sow at the best of times ..... ;-)

Ali - you do make me smile - Singleton Awareness Day indeed! Never give up, you will find Him. I make no excuse for finding The One at the age of 41 and behaving like a soppy teenager but I can see how all the hype over Februaruy 14th can grate on many people too. I feel like that every Father's Day when the shops are filled with cards and gifts for daddy. Oh how I wish I could send a card to my daddy, just once more.

I think the problem with retail/commerce is that it's all too quick to make a fast buck from selling tat,but fails to think of those without loved ones (for whateverreason) or no dad, mum etc on the other "occassion days" throughout the year.

I've got tons to do today. My aim is to get all the VA stuff done by the end of tomorrow so that Friday/Saturday can be spent holiday prepping - need to buy super-strength mozzie repellent and sun cream - and clean the house. It was so lovely coming back from Greece last October to a shiny clean house.

Mind you, with the lad (PuppyMan) moving in on March 9th, the house will be under constant mop/bucket state until he's house trained. I registered him at the local vet yesterday and we have our first appointment in the diary for his jabs and stuff.

    Awwww!

Big love, and muchos amore to you all.

    Deevs, Virtually!

    Dear all

really shouldn't be here but it was interesting to see evryones views on valentines day.

This is me and Mr bp 9th v day together and I think its fair to say that the day was just a normal day, I had a long day at work - mr bp is feeling under the weather so we had chinesse and I went to acting on my own.

We did exchange cards and presents but had bought each other the same thing (A tube of love hearts)

I would sound ungreatful, but I know my husband loves me everyday with the little things that he does, and I don't need dedications, flowers, expensive presents to prove how he feels (but just the once it would be nice)

I am so glad he is my husband though and I know I am lucky to have him, and am kinda glad that day is out of the way - so much expectation - a bit like Christmas!

Anyway peace and love to all

    Baggy

    Good morning all,

Sun's shining and the skies are blue ,haven't put my nose out the door yet to see how warm or cool it is ,so hence that's the end of the weather forcast..lol.

Sezza ,I hope boy 2 is AOK after his nose bleed ,bit messy eh!!,loved the tale of the raffle prize ,bit same here ,as inmy post yesterday I said that we dont do anything ,but to my surprise when I got home last last ,there were two plants waiting for me . I thanked Ken and said how nice and what a lovely thing to do ...hen at the end of the coversation he told me he'd had a win on the geegees ,don't you just love em.

Deev, special cards for our loved ones that are no longer with us can pull on the heart strings ,I always think of my dear mum and dad ,but think of them more on those special days. And maybe you could light a nice candle as that helps you to focus your thoughts ..just an idea to make it easier for you .Thats what I do .

Right just time for another cuppa ..enjoy your day all.

    Take care ..Bids.xxx.
