Pouring down in London...
Raindrops the size of snooker balls. I quite like though, probably a lot more than my suit jacket, unprotected and suddenly all forlorn. As no doubt Jonny and I will be come six o'clock this afternoon. Lunch is on me for the teacher to be and he is of course more than most welcome. Now, he doesn't know this but the rest of the team are gonna arrive en masse a propos 16.30 hrs. Shhhhhhhhhh - it's gonna be great.

Good luck to him for his future, I am sure he will make the odd cameo appearance on the show, probably when we least expect it......
Thanks for all of the warmth in your posts in the last blog. I do not feel special only a little honoured to do the job I do. I'm so impressed that he's going into teaching. It's got to be one of the toughest jobs going. It's certainly the most important. I seem to remember years ago that Zoe Ball was thinking of leaving the public eye to go into teaching as well but I guess she changed her mind.

I start work at 9.30 - usually I'm in and at my desk before then, but today I was sitting in my car in the car park to hear the end of the show. Joran - yes, you're right - Arran is supposed to be Scotland in miniature - and has runrigs - can't quite remember what they are but they are definitely there on Arran.
Baggy and Susan - good luck, hope the weather is good to you.
xxxxxxx
Mary - How did you know I'd be in Arran Aromatics with a basket on my arm? Any orders? Or Arran cheese? Order now and I'll bring them with me in August. If I remember rightly, there's also a rather lovely chocolate shop there too.

Baggy, Good luck with your run
All way too engergetic for me!
Mr Sezza and I are off into the big city tomorrow. For his birthday, friends bought him a night in a hotel and a thames river Boat trip! I thought I'd better go along to keep make sure he doesn't get into trouble!
Even better, they are having the boys for the night so a proper treat!
Annie, Arran Aromatics sounds like a lovely place to pick up a few treats!
