Don't shoot - oh alright then if you must.
Off to a photo shoot...
... for the jacket of the book.
It was a no food night last night and up at six this morning on the cross - trainer - pathetic I know but you've got to make an effort haven't you. Trouble is if you work out too much too close to the actual shoot then you're still all red and puffy by the time the slap goes on. I think I just might stand a chance of "calming down" before the it's time to watch the birdie*.
This is why radio is such a dream.
Apparently they have a few "ideas" for the cover - should be interesting. No doubt we'll all be latted up by lunchtime and somewhere along the line a bit of work might get done.
The dude in charge is actually a very cool guy so it should be fun. But if I never had to have my photo taken again ever before I leave this mortal coil then it would be still be too
soon.
*Watch the birdie - we had to look it up and it comes from a little brass bird being held above the camera to try and get the attention of the the subjects of nineteenth century snappers.
Say Cheeeeese everyone...

So this is a bit of a weird request ....
Can anyone recommend a good biography on George Best?
I've never really known much about him, other than the obvious, but after watching the docu-drama on Beeb2 t'other night I would like to learn more about him. Not necessarily huis playing career - after all, he retired at 27, but more his background, his decline / demise etc.
Much of what the docu-drama depicted struck a chord within me, having watched my lovely dad battle alcoholism (his ultimate eventual downfall).
I'm fascinated by addictive personalities. My entire perspective of Pete Doherty changed when I read a biog on his issues a couple of years back.

sb - GtY is ok whatever the weather, it's only 20 mins from us. If you come Norwich way at all, let us know and we'll meet you for latte's or bieres?
Portraits - aaaaah, I was a photographer in my previous life. Many a story to tell, few celebs, but mostly kids, families, schools and Norwich City matches focussed into the end of my lens. Don't worry about being slightly red Chris, us pale gingembre's need all the help we can get!!!!
Sun's been out al day but has now gone all shy behind the clouds. On nights from tomorrow for 6 days but will try to pop in as and when.
Eldest daughter is 12 today so I've been to 'see' mummy with some flowers (can't let her girl miss out) , was soooo sunny too which just made it al the nicer.
She's doing the race for life on Sunday with a few memebers of the faily. Gonna be an emotional experience methinks???

Weather update speshully for the Lord Bondy.
Is very sunny and turtley GAWJUS here...and because I'm sarf of the Sarf Darns, I can actually see where the blue sky finishes and the clards begin...my mother say's it's raining where she is...which is about 25m north...apparently it's gonna be pants for the BH but what's new.
Darce, the sea (further sarf obvs) is a beautiful turquoise blue, and my mate said is blimmin FREEZIN'. Sep she didn't say blimmin.

In fact (AliB) the only interest I have in football is the length of the season...which is persackly the same amount of time I still have a Wally Bottle. And if we do have a warm spell, I just kick it out if I get too hot. But it still gets done. Can't bear being chilly in bed. Even with a Badger.

I did think about getting my summer clothes out from under the bed, but am glad I didn't now.
Off in a mo to do a shop at @sda, then home to put a pizza in the oven, get my jammies on and watch Chelsea beat Barcelona - or not?!?!?!

We were in North Devon the first week in May last year and the temps were 70 degrees.

Take care Sweetie.
Is the Big Fella trying to tell me something....I'm goingto pick my Mum up from an AA meeting tonight, which ironically is held across the road from a really nice Pub.
I was going to pop in about 8:00 have One pint of shandy and a read the paper (no issue with Mother, I'm not that daft....I'm not!) and then collect her at 9:00 before running her home.
By chance came back to the office that way today, and it's burnt to the ground, last weekend apparently.....alright...I get the idea, could have been a bit more subtle!!!
