WHEN DOCTORS TRY TO BE NICE
Tone and pressure they call it...
... a hearing test and all.
I've had a weird sensation down my left side for ages now, eminating from behind the middle of my left ear, extending all the way down through my jaw, lazy left eye, arm and hands all the way down to my lumpy left foot.
The hearing test he says came back normal apart from "the loss of some of the higher end due to MATURING." Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Getting older and older, every day it's more a matter of clinging on ain't it ?
Off for a scan now, never had one before. Should be back at work in an hour, maybe even soon enough to bump into Mr. Milliband and ask him what's the real scoop. He's on Jeremy Vine don't you know ?

But, it's all good. We just have to keep on going, one foot in front of the other - stay positive. My lovely mum would have said "Be grateful you can get up in the morning and go to work. So many people wish they could, and for whatever reason, they can't".

Christof, I heard you acknowledge last night that this babe is not your first, and that you can learn from early lessons. That was lovely. I contemplated how your daughter would be feeling - regardless of contact you have with her. My husband has a daughter to his first relationship - and we tried to foster a relationship but it failed, and I think half the reason was down to a feeling of our kids having what she didn't have. there is nothing we can do to make it better - but the thought of her is there at the back of our minds.
We can't always do everything right, but where we get a chance to we should give it our all.

to get away from tearfull songs, despite how lovely they are,
What about Estelle and AmericanBoy - with the Kanye Bit in it. I'm loving the Kanye bit. I don't understand this type of music, but I'm liking what's underneath him.
Or a Kanye song which doesnt have sweary words in it, but which I can bob about to whilst driving.
Anyone recommend one, or am I on an island here.
