HOW ABOUT A RACE BEFORE FIVE.

Chris Evans | 15:58 UK time, Friday, 18 January 2008

Alright listeners, well more readers of the blog really, you have one hour to...

... have a stab at picking the first record for tonight's ALL REQUEST Friday. I'm just fresh back from a. - Richard bacon's wedding. He was very funny, she looked absolutely gorgeous...and b., the novocaine happy dentist. However this does mean that we ahve time for a bit of fun with the first disc.

Cheese only please. Think Gilbert O'sullivan, Bazza Manilow, Olivia Newton John etc.,.

So, come on then.

Now, had a big old tooth clean and a proper half hour drill and fill with Dr. McCavity and got to watch the first hour of Gladiator through some special fear averting glasses and head phones (they really work!). The affected gum area was numb fopr a while but the main thing I've found in the last two hours is that my bum has started to hurt really badly. What's all that about ?

CLP

2008.

X.

P.S. At my signal...unleash hell.

P.P.S. The persuit is continuing, howvever both the subject and the country in question have changed. We're looking at Canada now. I will reveal more when it is safe to do so.

Nettie(my wife) and I are passionate about feeding dogs and cats essential good food. Please give huge consideration to feeding RAW food to the pup - you will not regret it. Raw meat and Raw vegetables and NO carbohydrate in the form of mixer. When dogs were wild animals they killed their food and the first thing that happened was that they ate the partially digested veg and fruit in the animals stomach. The then went on to eat the offal and muscle and then the bones. So you replicate the diet with raw minced meat that includes bone and cartiledge as well as pulped fruit and veg. When pup has got the hang of it you can feed chicken carcasses(Yes you can!!) lamb ribs and nice marrow bones. Please come back to us if you need further info and we can steer the pup in the right direction. Bring 'em up slow. ARR! Brain & Nettie PLATT

(Sorry but got a few things need ter get off me chest - DON'T READ if yer don't want ter be alarmed & I ain't talkin' burglar protection alarmed ere!)

Only thing blog friends sorry ter say this & on a Mondee but the 'uman race is gettin' in a mess at pres.
Nostradumus's predictions of economic 'ard times & some of mine which i've writted last year ere are coming true slowly but surely.....

A Big World Recession/ economic 'ardship, ave I spelt recession right? One 'C', currr..... cerrrr or two?
Can't remember..... but any way all this big greed & world debt bubble is all going pop now sadly...
But it is for the better as in about five years tme the boom times will begin again making things good for people who 'avn't got badly over stretched now & more importantly for the future generations. I mean 'ouse prices 'ave become outta the reach of the working class & young adults, come five years time they will be able ter buy without 'uge debt - 2012 is the year that I predict the recession, stockmarket bear market & 'ousing crash will end.
Many say 'old on the 'ousing market ain't crashed yet, or a recession started - I believe we are at the start of a big (sorry am talkin' financial matters ere, should be using posh words like a financial analyst would - nowt terdo with the rear - analyst) prelonged bust period lasting for five years. Yes prelonged is posher!

So all is gonna be well as long as the ice caps don't melt more in five years and flood London or the 2012 Olympics.
Maybe the goverment should be building the Thames Barrier, 'igher, instead of throwing money at greedy building contractors in the same area - quite ironic if the area of the Olympics is the same area that will flood first!

I'm all for The Olympics & celebration of sport but nowadays it's all too commercial & money making greed blog friends.
The biggest winners at the games are the owners of large constuction firms who win the building contracts - know what am sayin'!!!!

Mind you, no need ter build it 'igher if we could all stop polluting & use electric cars - a year after some of me blog comments about te brilliant new Electric Smart car - WERE IS IT?????
Are somehow these great new vehicles being 'eld back from us?
I'd but one ter save me paying 110per litre for diesel alone, global warming or not!!!!!
Call me cynical but there's no fuel duty in electric - maybe the greed is worth more than the planet.
Mind you if Lonodn does get flooded, I did say IF, and IF some of the scientist are right about there's enough water from the ice caps ter fill an area the size of the Atlantic - it's gonna cost alot more in the long run when London is under water - sadly though this is the way The 'uman Race is a flawed breed.

SORRY but needed ter get it off me chest!!!!!!

I'll try & cheer everbody up later when I tell all on the later blog about me misunderstanding/ incident with Danni Monogue when I auditioned for the X-Factor!!!!!!
That's if CLP & The BP let me!

Got back from Manchester last night and I'm sure I was fed a caffeine-laden mocha at the service station rather than de-caff so I didn't sleep much last night. However the house contracts are signed and today they should be exchanged and next Thursday should be completion date. Saturday was a rather emotional and traumatic farewell to our first house but I am over it (well I would probably be if I had any energy left to feel anything with) and we'll soon have a little pot of money to buy a car with! Hoorah, hoorah... Next job is to find another house so we don't have to keep renting... It will be nice to be debt-free for a few months at any rate.

Good job Debbie for making up with the g/friend! That must have taken a good lot of courage, but I'm so pleased for you. Hope that makes things a little smoother for you all.

Smilesy - I wish I could find the motivation to get outside and go running! I'm supposed to be training for a 10k run this summer but what with wanting little ones and all I've kinda got conflicting interests.... Doesn't help that the weather is just so miserable, and I've never been one for liking the rain much (unlike a friend of mine who prefers the rain to the indoors).
