OK YES THEY ARE MY PYJAMAS.
Life is busy, so busy. Busy is good. Here's why today...
... spent two hours planning the C.I.N. weekend. For 120 grand we have to give the bidders value for money. I've never really hosted a party before. I'm actually quite nervous, in an excited kind of way. There's going to be... well actually it's all a surprise, so I, for once, am not giving anything away.
ALSO DID.
Put a hammock up in the woods ready for the weekend.
Put together the barbecue that my lovely mummy got me for my birthday.
Hung up more pictures.
Drove a Londres, went to see a man about a dog.
Turned down several more television offers. I am getting rather good at this nowadays. Chris Tarrant and Mr. Ramsay will have to go knocking on other peoples doors' I'm afraid, as will ITV, MICHAEL GRADE or no MICHAEL GRADE.
Power-plated, I'm ripped my good friends.
Came to work and been here ever since getting tonight's show together.
Our offices are soooo sunny, the sky is so blue, everyone is in such a good mood.
The capital's almost empty, it seems everyone's done a pre easter bunk. The m 25 last night was like my own private race track, I was home in no time.
Ho Hum must get along now, hope you're all well and fine and fettlesome. ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ radio 2 rules, no really it does.
My old mate Webbo is back on the scene, he's hanging around for a cheeky wet Wednesday post show pint.

OK.
So does this count as yesterday's or today's?
Good grief. Is it possible to feel more Fridayish on a Thursday than I do now?
If you get what I mean.
Quick game of squash (not salsa) this evening followed by a few pints at the local with an old friend...
..then it is the weekend proper.
And the weather is going to be proper too!
Hope you all have great plans and they all come to fruition.
Much peace and love

So glad you turned down "Family Fortunes".
Dr JMC. Hope you enjoy Ravel's next meal. By the way, is he any relation to the shoe Company.
Hazel and The Diva thank you will miss U2. I will be back but I know not where and I not not when and indeed who....
Happy easter all.
Ok That has really confused me - dated 4 april at a time of 4.17 pm and it's now 11.31 am on the 5 April. Hmmm - have a word with that Tom Loosemore chap about stuff working - sorry saw Tom do a fantastic presentation a couple of weeks ago so thought I would name drop - shameless.
Chris you can't go to ITV! - thank goodness you said no. Though methinks you won't be with us this time next year - I do hope I'm wrong.
Mange Tout xx
Have a fab easter Chris et al. Just a quickie to say thanks for bigging up the lovely Mika last night after your initial misgivings about him! He's fab and lights up the whole world with his music.
Have fun and don't eat too many choccies xxx
ahh its nice to see the blog from yesterday...for some reason i couldn't see it until this morning!...abit dodgy there...then again my computer can be unreliable at the best of times!
All request friday today...as its like a friday to most people!...well all my days are rolled into one when its the holidays from school!...but i'm not going to complain!
Just been listening to my french teacher speaking french (funny that!)...on a tape she has made of my GCSE speaking test...its a rather scary experience!
Anyway...another sunny day lies ahead...i've got work this afternoon which means i won't hear your show until 6...so i will have to listen back to the rest later on! :)
Have a good one...by the way...it has to be a travesty the fact your not the new presenter of the X Factor!
I havn't stopped laughing since "Did Vicky Michelle wear a mumsy top in Allo Allo?" "No that was a maids outfit you little perv". I think we need a difinitive mumsy top link Chris. If you can't do it on the radio surely you can do it here.
Power plates 3k to 9k in Harrods yet 200 quid on ebay. Someone is dishonest. I would love to kick the gym subs on the head and buy one but do I spend 3k or £200 or would a pneumatic drill do the same job. Ooooh the whole nation using pneumatic drills to get toned bodies and as a bonus we could be speed hump free in a week.
jk nonegreen
hello chris! Now i like the sound of this power plate thing, where can i go and use one or buy one with out having to pay £2500??? You're making me very jealous! Perhaps you can lend me the money and i'll promise to listen to your show forever? I think thats a smashing deal, i think you do too!
:-) x
Yay for Easter - it is technically Friday for me too today AND I am off till Tuesday although I do have to make a brief foray into work Saturday.
Am so happy and bouncy today - haven't had a full day off work since Christmas. No joke. Am going to spend tomorrow chilling with my son and baking with him and hopefully a trip to the park if the weather stays sunny (pleaee, please be sunny!!) Just simple stuff but so nice when you haven't been able to do it for so long.
Hope everyone has a lovely break doing what they enjoy the most :o) x
Hi Chris,
Happy Easter!
I am finding it so difficult to get back in the groove of commenting on your blog and also, I haven't heard the show at all this week, so hopefully I will make up for it next week.
I managed to get completely mixed up on your blog earlier this week re: your big discovery. For some reason I thought you had discovered something about YOURSELF and were about to share it! I didn't realise you were talking about some "plate" thing, but if you are happy my good man, that's fine by me!
Some of your loyal blogger friends in Scotland met up earlier this week, trying to emulate your OAMC. It was very successful and we did raise a toast to you - did you feel the love being transported your way?!
Take care one and all.

Hi Christophe, and hey babes!
Have had HUGE computer problems today, am missing everyone too much, and can't stop now, and how strange looking at yesterday? Hope you had a good time with Webbo last evening!
Me, I've definitely got that Friday thang goin' on...boss is wearing his Friday thong, I'm thinging a Friday thong, and tho are the birdieth...thinging in the treeth.
A hammock eh - I'm going to the beach this weekend...gonna watch the seagulls and the bi-planes with strange obscure messages passing overhead...I'd LOVE a hammock. Ah well. One day. And the beach is only a few minutes away...
Tally ho, weekend we go!
Happy Easter to one and all - Delilah, hope you get at least SOME rest!
love

PS Mange tout and all your vegetables, or you won't get any pudding.
PPS Lemon entry, my dear Watson...
Hi Chris and the blogettes,
Happy Easter to all.
It's warm, it's sunny, it's very nearly Easter, I have a rather delicious looking Green and Black's organic Chocolate Egg on my desk, given to me by a friend here at work. There's a little over an hour to go before I shut this technological terror down, hot foot it over the car park and wind my way home through the country lanes of Dorset, while listening to the show.
The big questions are, how soon can I eat this egg? Will it be in one piece when I get home? Will it even make it to the car? How long will I have to stand on a Power Plate to work this baby off? What if there are more Eggs at home? What then? How will this Egg feel if I just plonk it onto a pile of other eggs? Will it still feel special? Will it get depressed or feel superior at the sight of non-organic eggs? Will it care? Does it really want to be eaten? Would it not rather be the last Easter Egg out of the Fridge this weekend? Who knows?
Have a good one.....
Keep smiling
Rachel.

I'm new to this CLP.
Had an op on Tues and just found your blog site sitting here recovering, has cheered me up no end.
Haven't got a lot to say at the mo apart from I hope you don't turn down TV work forever, you're sorely missed my fellow ginger friend.
DFYT is still the best gameshow ever (in my opinion)
Keep smiling, have a great BH weekend. KW
Chris - nice to see you mentioning your Mum again. As CHRISSIE S said we toasted(!) you at our Scottish OAMC meet on Tuesday and we all said that we loved the fact that you love your Mum and speak about her in utterly lovely ways. Good on you.
Happy Easter to all bloggers.

Hi Chris, think your radio show is great but
like it better when you are not so hypo and
talking more slowly and calmly. Never use to listen to your much earlier radio shows but now you sound really great and have some fantastic interviews with very interesting stuff.
Any chance of getting the hedgerow food man back for a chat and more herbal type remedies/best products to buy etc. for health.
Take care from Trago Mills in Cornwall
(if you have never shopped there speak to
Dawn French!!!)
