    Hmm.

  • Comment number 2.

    Blog. Not Twitter Reg ;)

  • Comment number 3.

    Yeah, this is awful.

Why does "cotton" not get a capital letter? Is he literally eating cookies with cotton and Tinchy?

Stolen Tinchy's socks and wrapped the cookies up in them, guzzled them, then fallen ravenously upon Tinchy himself?

Are "Cookies" a complicated metaphor? Is this all a haiku style of blog which is simply beyond our mere mortal comprehension?

I'd say "awful" is a bit over the top.

Not setting my world on fire, but then I don't listen to the Chart Show. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. There'll be a single review along in a minute. Everyone carry on as normal.

Yeah, awful was the wrong word. It's horrendous!! (Only joking, lol)

    Hi Reg

This is a very entertaining chartblog full of people with vast knowledge of music , artists and what makes a good and commercial pop single .

I am sure we have reviewers , presenters and d.j's amongst us too , who are fascinated by music and the charts .

I happen to think you are a fantastic dj when you focus on the music , and I have a great resopect for you , and look forward to more intelligent chat centred around the music .

If in the future you are stuck for a co - presenter for the chart show , let me know !

    i don't get it

  • Comment number 9.

Is it now a requirement to listen to the show in order to understand the blogs? I hope for better on the second week!

  • Comment number 10.

Yeah , I was hoping for intelligent chat about the songs and artists .

Chat about "peas" and "cookies" is arguably aimed at an under 5 audience.

I also hope next time is better .

OK let's do what Reg should have done.....

WHO'S GONNA HAVE THE NUMBER ONE SINGLE ON SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST 2009 ?

    YOUR CONTENDERS......IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER...

    1) CALVIN HARRIS - READY FOR THE WEEKEND

    2) DAVID GUETTA / AKON - SEXY CHICK

3)PETER ANDRE - BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

    4)TINCHY/AMELLE - NEVER LEAVE YOU

    5) BLACK EYED PEAS - I GOTTA FEELIN

The number 1 will be one of those 5... WHICH ONE ?

  • Comment number 12.

Secondly will CALVIN HARRIS or TINCHY STRYDER have the NUMBER ONE album ?

  • Comment number 13.

Little Boots will be up there too, no?

Also... surely MJ has a large chance of still being at #1 come Sunday in the albums.

  • Comment number 14.

Little Boots has an outside chance , but a lot of people are buying the album HANDS , AS they liked NEW IN TOWN and now REMEDY .

    REMEDY may rise .

As I said ages ago on the KASABIAN post when giving the release date for CALVIN and TINCHY'S albums , they would battle for the top , and this is absolutely sure to happen.

Both marketing and promotion teams are currently in overdrive , and Mr HARRIS is doing his own one - man marketing machine everywhere .

    It's gonna be close !

  • Comment number 15.

DAVID GUETTA'S SEXY CHICK was only at 21 last week as it was released mid week as there was a pirate cover again out to steal it's thunder .

Watch it go supernova this Sunday !
