The Chart Show (Plus DVD Extras) - 21/09/08
This week's wonderful DVD extras contain some disturbing truths. And most of them revolve around one man, namely Dougie, the handsome, but troubled bass player with McFly. And I only say troubled because of his insistence on behaving in staggeringly inappropriate ways in front of entire media outlets, particularly Radio 1.
Have a really good listen to this interview Fearne and Reggie did with Tom McFly, if you dare, and you will hear tales which will chill your very soul...or at the very least, put you off cleaning...
=======================================
Meanwhile, this interview, with Dreamgirls Oscar-hoover (and Top 20 chart star) Jennifer Hudson contains the very thing which actual DVD extras on actual DVDs were originally designed for, in that you get to hear the moment, halfway through, when everything sort of falls over.
You'll notice that, consummate professionals that they are, Fearne and Reggie do not slip into a massively long swear-fest like the actors on TV's Naughtiest Blunders do. That's ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ training for you. Best in the k* world!
.
=======================================
And finally, here's F&R doing what they do best with Iglu & Hartley. Only what are you supposed to do when you're interviewing an act who have just gone into the charts, but don't seem to be sure
a) who you are,
b) who THEY are,
c) what the chart is that they are doing well in, and
d) how they are supposed to feel about all of this?
Ah well, they got there in the end. Horsedonkey all round...BOOM!
.
=======================================
And, if anyone is still reading down this far after half an hour of solid listening...glowing red ears and all that...well, why not play Top 5 High Five!
Hell, why not do it WHILE you're listening?
All you need to do is answer 'High 5!' if you approve of this week's Top 5, and 'Denied!' if you don't.
And here is that Top 5 once again in talkywordingform...
1: Kings Of Leon - 'Sex On Fire'
2: Katy Perry - 'I Kissed A Girl'
3: Pussycat Dolls - 'When I Grow Up'
4: McFly - 'Lies'
5: Rhianna - 'Disturbia'
