Starting off tonight with an unapologetic restating that I am, indeed, lost in 1977, which seems to be the impression generated by a current ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ infomercial about After Midnight. Sometimes it takes a TV trail to give a presenter a clear picture of what his show is all about. The b-side of White Riot is one of the best songs Mr Strummer and Mr Jones have ever devised. Yes, they borrowed the riff from the Kinks but they left it back undamaged. A view of the list below will show you that sometimes the songs are not taken from a random record generator installed in the Radio Foyle garage. I have arranged for an Adam & The Ants song to be followed by a band with the same title. I promise not to make a habit of it.
There's also a b-side from The Outcasts, the homecoming kings, in honour of their Belfast appearance. I saw their poster. That's enough for me.
