It's Showtime

Raj&Pablo | 12:50 UK time, Sunday, 11 April 2010

Well, what can we say?Ìý The highly anticipated Vivek Oberoi movie Prince finally hit our screens this week and how.Ìý Its fast and furious with lots of thrills and spills - a kind of Bollywood meets The Bourne Identity meets James Bond meets Don meets Dhoom 2.Ìý The film has surprised the pundits and has had a massive opening in Inida - second only to MNIK.Ìý And as Rajeev Masand told us, it's so bad it's good!

Vivek is back as a star who can open a film on his name alone - do watch it if you are into crime capers . British starlet Aruna Shields stands out as the Lara Croft type co-star.Ìý Vivek rocks.

Director Kooki Gulati is pleased at the opening and is all praises for the dedication shown by Vivek especially in all the high octane stunt scenes.

prince210130.gifThe true star of the show who helps sets the movie apart is the fantastic msuic director Sachin Gupta . The former rock band composer who hails from a family of doctor's told us that the super hit song Tere Liye is based on his unresolved love life and he will be continuing to write songs from his broken heart.Ìý Bless him!

Next week sees the release ofÌý the Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia starrer Paathshala.Ìý Shahid and Ayesha play school teachers who take on the wrath of a despotic headmaster Nana Patekar, while trying to improve the lot of his students.

Sounds interesting.Ìý Get in touch if you want to review the film for us - email lovebollywood@bbc.co.uk

Till next week

Love Us Love Bollywod
