The Boys Are Back
Just wanted to say thank you for your response to our shows from Mumbai - so glad you all enjoyed them as much as we did. We landed in a cold London and as always on our return from that mesmerising city feel energised and exuberant and our byline at the moment is "Jai Ho"!
Raj: Time passes so fast in the city of movie magic - there is always someone to meet, a launch to go to, a party to pop in to, a shoot to see - the main business of the city is to make celluloid dreams and everyone is enthused. The Filmfare awards were great - and as always you have to pinch yourself as you brush shoulders with the great and glorious. My highlight has to be the gracious Asha Bhosle - she looked every inch the divine diva in a blue/green silk sari. Her dignity and humility was evident as she came barefoot on stage, performed a 'parnaam' on stage and then - wonder of wonders - sang the announcement for A R Rahman's award. It was truly a magic moment.
Pablo: It's been a whirlwind of a week - the preparations for the shows were intense, exciting and fun. Raj and I were in full flow throughout and the shows were fun, fun, fun! Apart for catching up with our friends - we loved Priyanka's homemade nimbu paani; Dia Mirza's infectious laughter; Tarun Masukhani's cutting wit and Abhi cancelling a flight to Calcutta to be with us...guys you all rock! The biggest buzz has been the reaction to the live shows. Thank you! We also can't wait to play our interviews with Neil Nitin Mukesh and the legendary Sameer - we'll play his interview on Sunday...
