It's All In The Timing
With all the worldwide whirlwind of premiers, Chandni Chown to China finally opens today and the question on everyone's lips is will it hit bulls eye at the Bollywood Box Office?Ìý Expectations are high - the right ingredients for a spicy Chinese takeaway are all there - the Sholay Sippys; King Kumar, a double dose of Deepika; amazing Advani all wrapped up in Warners packaging. We will let you know what we and our two reviewers think this Saturday. The timing seems right - we all need a feel good funathon to cheer us up from the doom and gloom of the credit crunch.
Raj: One of the highlights for everyone was the prescience of Amitabh Bachchan at the premier in London and the auditorium went wild. It was interesting to learn his views on the premiere. One of the things about Mr. Bachchan that makes him the legend he is, is his dedication and efficiency.Ìý On a private visit to London, Amitabh agreed to attend the premier after Akshay phoned him from Toronto. Arriving at the required time, Amitabh had to take a tour of central London in his limo as things were running so behind schedule. But all's well that ends well - he enjoyed the movie.

Pablo: Looking forward to reactions to Chandni Chowk to China - think it will do well. It's fun frivolous and as Akshay says, leaves your brain at home. We will be chatting to the man behind it, Rohan Sippy, on Saturday. He was in bed with a fever last week or was it nerves? Let's find out. We will also be looking at the top five screen jodis in our Strictly Five Factor. Who gets our vote? Will it be SRK and Kajol or Akshay and Katrina? Who are your favourites? Get in touch and let us know.
