Mission Money Hai Toh DVD Hai
Had a hectic weekend, the shows were great!Ìý We all loved Kismat KonnectionÌý and the music of Bachna Ae Haseeno - have to say Bips looks sensual and sexy.
Captain Sheetal Massi is back with a bang. Forget 'Papu Cant Dance',Ìý in the studio she proved that 'gujus's cant dance' - (remember the marriage sequences in Kal Ho Naa Ho?) when she went Bhangra mad and tried to change the light bulbs when hearing Sinng Is King!
Went clubbing on Sunday, had a blast - my weekend had begun. Star Wars seems to have broken out in Bolly la la land - Mr Bachchan has come out against the detractors; alleged war inÌý KHANdaan between SRK and Salman with Aamir the piggy in the middle; Kareena gloating over Priyanka's flop Love Story 2050 and Akshay rejecting a movie opposite Rani...and that's just the start!
Why are Bollywood DVDs so expensive! Went to HMVÌý pleased that they have a proper catalogue but was shocked at the prices. I will not pay £25 for a DVD so went mad in Southall where the same titles were on sale at 3 for £10. Was amazed to find some classics - have decided to build a collection and bought Meena Kumari (a legend) in Phool Aur Pathar; Dil Apna Aur Preet Parai and Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam.Ìý Pablo is over the moon that I discovered the Rekha/Jeetu Muslim Social Deedar E Yaar - she plays a khota wali who of course dies for love while dancing her sox off.
Two releases this week; Govinda's "Money" which is meant to be a rib tickling entertainer and Vivek's "Mission Istaanbul" - an espionage thriller with twists - looking forward to both of them.
Still tasting tonnes of cocktails and am trying to get an elachi flavoured bhang based drink...Any suggestions?
Love us...Love Bollywood
