Undercover Princesses: Dating Videos

Post categories: ,Ìý,Ìý

Dana Stevens | 16:28 UK time, Thursday, 25 February 2010

It's a blog exclusive today as you lucky bloggers get to see this video before anyone else. If you saw Undercover Princes last year you'll understand just how excited I am about this new show. Three real princesses come over to the UK, and more specifically the hotbed of romance that is Essex, looking for love. In a bid to find their own Prince Charming they embrace the British dating scene, trying speed dating, blind dates and clubbing. In this video the princesses introduce themselves and explain why they're hoping to find romance in England. I, for one, can't wait to witness the culture shock!

I am a big fan of ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ 3 programs, but this time u have let us down so miserably.
I dont think the producers did any research on the Ugandan Princess, she is not a princess and the Ugandan Community here feel so let down. Its compareble to Katie Price being presented as a Royal with 40 million subjects.
Please bear in mind that these programs are not aired to just the British public but you also have people from the regions that are represented.
Its always Africa that's given bad press, surely you can do better!
Really dissapointed by the producers of this show this time round, gutted.

@ Magulu. I think you're being unfair. This type of program is obviously going to attract very minor royals from any country. Look at the German princess who looks like a german version of Paris Hilton. According to this genealogy, she is royalty, albeit a very minor one.

Good. I see that the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ is not ready to accept that it has made a mistake and attempt to correct it.

I love this programme. It's just fresh and funny. Sometime we forget there are people that live completly different lifes from us 'mortals', and desperately want to be like us.
    Thank you.

This programme is so entertaining, i loved that they went to a gaybar and Cinderellah is just like 'its for gays, lesbians and bisexuals, im none of those' really looking forward to the other episodes.

i am pretty sure she is saying word as in xenia not world as it says in the subtitles for the show, its offputting and slightly racist.

I really love watching this program. It was so emotional to see Cinderella and Paul. When she came out of the closet, Paul looked really sad and afraid to loose her. That moment was heart breaking. Only when she said, she still loves him, he was able to smile again. It was so sad when they said goodbye to each other. To see Cinderella break out in tears in the car made me cry, too. I keep my fingers crossed it'll work out for them. To Xenia I have to say, I was a bit surprised to see her there. I'm German so I know, Royalty is long forgotten in Germany. She doesn't live in a Palace. She grew up as an ordinary girl in an ordinary environment. She is a real princess in respect of her bloodline but in Germany is no such thing like the English Royal Family. Xenia went to a casting of Popstars in 2004 which is similar to X-Factor but not as big as the German X-Factor (DSDS). If Prince Harry wanted to sing, he wouldn't have to go to an X-Factor casting as a contestant to get anyone to listen to his voice. The only reason why everyone recognizes her in Germany is not because of her Royalty but because she is now a celebrity, known for her singing and acting career after her break through on Popstars. She is no comparison to the other 2 princesses.

Just some clarification about Royalty in Africa. Sheila is a Princess but a lower rank Princess. This is common in the Africa royalty set up because African kings married very many wives who gave birth to many children. There is no question that Sheila is such a child.

To make matters worse Ugandan Kingdoms had been abolished for decades until in the 90's when they were restored. By then many royals had scattered. Also many offsprings of the offsprings fell off the wagon as they found themselves living very hard lives; some without education.

Many found themselves leading normal lives like Sheila did though Sheila was able to use her title to build a career as popstar and actor. One thing there is to note is that Sheila is very educated and holds a degree in International Studies and a diploma in Journalism.

She may not be a senior royal but she is indeed a royal bu bloodline
