What would you do with the 成人快手 iPlayer?
You can use the 成人快手 iPlayer for catching up on TV or Radio you missed but there's so much choice! If you ever open it up and just sit there staring at the screen while your mind goes blank why dont you try the following...
1. Listen to my documentary about Desi-owned pubs "Two Pints Of Lager And A Plate of Chicken" - its all about the desi pubs (yes there is such a thing!)
I've been drinking in for the last 20 years - their culture, their music, the people who drink there and if its a growing industry. Some people seem to think i havent explored the topic well enough or think the documentary is too punjabi-centric. What do you think?
2. Listen to my Desi DNA/ Asian Network after-party which aired on the Friction show last Friday. We had the band Swami in as guests and they did acoustic versions of Rihanna's Umbrella, Ching and Electric Jugni (or acoustic jugni!!). Diamond from Swami also supplied us with a killer 30 min mix on the show. I think sup's vocal skills are now 'up there' with some of the best punjabi singers! What do you think? (and before the punjabi musical-nazi posse jump down my throat I said 'vocal skills' - not writing talents, or who has the longest 'heack')

Post your commentI'm not much of a drinker so no I'm not living up to the Punjabi stereotype. But Desi pubs I think will be on the decrease with this generation lets face it how many of us from our generation will want to run a desi pub. HOWEVER when Bobby went to Juggy D's pub and described it my opinion was changed. In order for future Desi Pubs to appeal to my generation they need to have a contemporary edge to it like... 'Juggy's Louge'.
