RIP MJ
Hi all,
Well what a day. A day that we'll never forget. It was quite a challenge to try and maintain the energy and fun element of my radio show whilst generating content surrounding the death of the most famous person in the world - Michael Jackson. You never quite know how to go about these moments but in the end we decided to be real and I personally always believe that we must continue as normal - life goes on.
Jackson himself demonstrated how life can be lived to the full and how through the adversity life must carry on. What saddens me most is that I doubt that anyone ever really knew him. What was really going on in that genius mind of his? I guess one thing we can be sure of is the reminder that how short life is.
Today we spoke to music artists Raghav, Taz and music producer Bappi Lahiri. They all said some very poignant things. Bappi meeting the man himself, Raghav a true fan and how Taz was totally inspired.
Thank you for all your messages to the show. I am off to find my white socks, black slip on shoes and leather jacket.
