Absolutely delighted it's the weekend and looking forward to not doing very much. I am sure there were eight days in the last week. Its been a bit of a mad show - Anil Kapoor in his hotel room, Mahesh Manjrekar and "Arvin" calling up Pablo claiming to be from the Filmfares. Glad Pablo was such a sport. Hope he gets a ticket...

I've been delighted by so many of you who have shown genuine concern for my little Monkey - Nakumi. She is ok but a bit anxious I am told. She is in a sanctuary in Malawi and apparently is being very distant. The Monkey Man in charge tells me she knows there is something up and has a new Daddy - me!
Well a fantastic night last night for Slumdog and boy are we milking it! Why not? It is great to see a film like that getting such recognition. I can't help thinking that the best bit of all this is the street kids who find themselves at the Oscars. There's almost another film in there somewhere - I suspect someone in bollywood is working on it - The Slum Dog Oscar Boy!
I'm going to the British Asian Sports Awards on Saturday. Can't wait to see who wins Best Passport Sprinter! Should be fun actually. Sitting next to James Caan from Dragon's Den. Any suggestions on conversation starters? Something that doesn't sound like I'm after his cash -Ìý well not in an obvious way anyhow.
It's the hump of the week -Ìý Wednesday.
Finally, we see the return of MC Raa. Everyone loves Raa. I think it's because secretly we all know someone like him - from school, a cousin or even at work.
Is Monday quite possibly the worst day of the week. Well I hate to tell you this, but I don't think it is. It's Tuesday. You see, what is the point of Tuesday? Its like an annoying painful corn on your little toe that just gets in the way. Just when you get through Monday you realise you still have Tuesday to go.
So today's the day of my date. Actually I'm a bit nervous because as much as this could be just a bit of radio fun, you never quite know do you? She really could be one? I have to say I have a soft spot for Scottish accents. Ever since the ginger haired one from Why Don't You?!
Let me start with a word on the cabbie earlier in the week. I did say thank you. Treat people like you want to be treated I guess. Well this week I have got myself in a weird situation. I am supposed to be on a date with Shobu Kapoor A.K.A Gita from Eastenders. Mmmm.. What to do?
Hello. It's a bit strange writing this as I'm not quite sure how many of you read it? So, please please will you leave a comment below to say you have done. Maybe there's a particular topic you'd like me to consider for my next blog? As you can tell I'm quickly running out of ideas. So I guess I'll just write and see what happens.

Here I am with my second blog. What fun hey. Even despite the snow I have managed to write this. You see, for me all this snow has really divided the nation. Between those who have used it as an excuse not to bother doing anything and for those that have carried on regardless and felt like Sherpa Tensing! The best one I heard this week was someone who couldn't make it to work because their "big coat" was at the drycleaners. Love it.
