We were disgusted this week that national TV treasure the character Ian Beale was locked up for the murder of Archie Mitchell. Ian Beale is the longest running cast member of the UK's favourite soap Eastenders and is the backbone of Walford and Albert Square. His businesses keep the community fed, his entrepreneurial spirit inspires the youth and his dad Pete used to sell fruit and Veg on the market!! For all these reasons alone this man should be freed.
