Had the very exciting task of interviewing Ram John Holder aka Porkpie from Desmond’s on Tuesday.
Being the TV addict I am Desmond's was definitely one of my favourite shows growing up. I was sooo happy when I heard that Trouble was showing re-runs and even happier when I heard it was being released on DVD. So it was only right that we hook up with one of the shows biggest characters to find out what the show meant to him and also its importance to the viewers. Check this out.

And as a Tribute to my other favourite character Matthew (the African student) I have come up with a list of his Top 10 Old African Sayings..

Matthew.JPG

Here it goes:

There's an old African saying......
*In a hard African Accent*

10.Too many wives brings poverty.

9. If the hunter doesn't become rich, it's because he likes good soup.

8. Fish don't choose to sleep on the fire.

7. However long a log stays in the water it will never become a crocodile

6. However ugly you are, your face will always be better looking than your bottom.

5. The tiger has seven whiskers, but where are you going to stand to count them?

4. If you sit on a rotten tree-stump to eat paw-paw, your bum will get wet as well as your mouth.

3. Fish and guests stink after three days.

2. The monkey's just as good as the vulture: after all, one's bald on the head and the other's bald on the bum.

1. The respectful goat doesn't fart in front of the Chief.

Think about it!
