This roadtrip has opened my eyes up a lot. I feel like i've been able to experience the tiniest of nosey snippets into all our listeners lives. It reaffirms why radio is important and especially 1Xtra!

1Xtra is speedy and reaches things fast, I'm talkin' about tunes and I'm talkin' about having serious fun! When I saw this crew of boys skateboarding and catching general jokes I wanted to get involved... Broop Broop to Birmingham. It's currently my birthday and I was actually born in a Hospital that doesn't exsist any longer on the outskirts of Moseley right here in Brum. Very special day...

Gem's undiscovered Jam today: Professer D and RT from Birmingham: https://www.myspace.com/trymyangle

P.S Going behind the scenes at Cirque de Soliel was awesome too, imagine being able to fly! I met a 19 year old girl that flies at the end of the show with the support of a few muscly men!!!

MMMmmmm, my boss bought me some champagne, guzzling it now! it's hard writing a blog with champagne in hand! Can you believe that UB40 came into the studio earlier and actually came prepared with a birthday card!?? Better still - Trev, he hadn't sorted any gifts out.. so I sent him out during the news to buy me a present quicksmart, unfortunately no shops were open so I ended up with a cookbook, Telly Tubby, a Kylie doll (which looked like a blonde haired martian) and an apron from the ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ shop!

I luv you TREVOR!
